Irvine · Ravenspark Golf Course
Golf lessons in Irvine
Ravenspark is Irvine's own golf course, and it is where Ronnie has played, competed and coached for over forty years. If you live in Irvine, your nearest golf coach is a few minutes away on Kidsneuk Lane — you do not need to drive to Glasgow or pay academy prices to learn properly.
Learning golf in Irvine
Irvine is unusually well served for a town its size — Ravenspark and Bogside sit on your doorstep, with Western Gailes and Glasgow Gailes on the coast just south. Ravenspark is the municipal one, and that matters: it is the course where most Irvine golfers actually learned, it does not require a membership to get started, and nobody is going to look twice at a beginner on the tee.
- Ravenspark Golf Course is in Irvine itself — no travel needed
- Municipal course, so no club membership required to start
- Ronnie has golfed here over 40 years and won the club championship three times
- Easy to reach on foot, by bus, or a few minutes' drive from anywhere in town
Why a local coach
Ronnie is not a visiting pro who drives in for a block of lessons and leaves. He is an Irvine golfer who has been part of the furniture at Ravenspark for four decades. He knows which holes catch people out, where the wind comes from, and what the course asks of you in February versus July.
