Lesson options & pricing
Golf has a reputation for costing silly money. Lessons here deliberately don't: honest local prices, straightforward options, and a sensible starting point if you are new. If you are unsure what to book, ask and Ronnie will recommend the simplest option.
60-minute 1-to-1 lesson
60 minutes • tailored coaching + simple next steps
Most complete beginners, returning golfers, and adults who want a full session with time to settle in.
- A calm first lesson or focused improvement session
- Simple explanation of one or two priorities
- Drills or next steps to practise afterwards
Which sounds most like you?
Pick the line that feels closest. This makes the choice easier than comparing four lesson types at once.
I want enough time to settle in, ask questions, and cover the basics properly.
Best if you already know the issue and want a shorter, focused session.
For golfers who need real-hole decisions, strategy, and scoring support.
Other lesson types
These are better when you already know the kind of session you need.
30-minute quick tune-up
30 minutes • one clear fix
Golfers who want help with one specific issue, or a short confidence boost between longer sessions.
- Focus on one clear problem
- Useful for follow-up work
- A compact, practical session
9-hole on-course coaching
9 holes • strategy + scoring
Golfers who want help with club choice, decision-making, course management, and scoring on the course itself.
- Real-hole strategy and decision-making
- Club selection guidance
- Practical scoring support
A good starting point if you are new
Most complete beginners start with the 60-minute 1-to-1 lesson. It gives enough time to settle in, cover the basics properly, and leave with a clear next step rather than feeling rushed.
- A full session without information overload
- Time to ask questions if you are unsure
- Easy to follow with a short tune-up or second lesson later on

Good to know
Lessons are deliberately old school: a bucket of balls, your own clubs (or borrowed ones if you don't have any yet), and a quiet time on the tee at Ravenspark. You are paying for 40 years of knowing what actually works — not for gadgets or academy overheads.
Gift vouchers are available for first lessons — a favourite for Christmas, Father's Day and birthdays. Just ask.
