You do not have to reach a certain standard before booking a golf lesson. Whether you are trying golf for the first time or have been playing for years, the hour is yours to work on what matters to you.

   Start with what you want from golf

   You might want to join friends on the course, feel more comfortable at the practice ground or improve a particular shot. Tell Ronnie what brought you along and how much you have played; that sets the starting point for your lesson.

   Build a setup that works for you

   For a first lesson, work through grip, posture, aim and contact in plain English. If you already play, Ronnie can watch your shots and focus on the part of your game that needs attention. The coaching follows your experience and how you move.

   Leave knowing what to practise

   Test a useful adjustment during the session, then take away a clear priority and a practical drill. As your game develops, lessons can move into chipping, putting or making better decisions on the course.
